A casino weekend upstate is a suite, a table, and a clock you can read, and exotic dancers in New York belong in that suite after the floor, not as a rumor about the property.
Turning Stone in Verona, Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, and del Lago in Waterloo are three different drives and three different moods. We do not speak for their policies. We do not partner with them. We book private entertainment in the room or rental you control. If a property forbids it, that is their rule and your problem to read before you put a deposit on a performer.
I danced for 22 years. I still tell guys the same thing: the floor is the floor, the suite is the party, and those are not the same job.
Three resorts, three shapes of weekend
Turning Stone puts you in Verona with a full resort’s worth of ways to lose a day. Plan the suite party after you know when the group will actually be done wandering. A Saturday night window that assumes everyone is upstairs at nine is how you wait in a hallway.
Monticello is Catskills distance from the city, and that distance is real. Pad it. The suite is the venue because the alternative is a second location you will not get the whole bachelor party into.
Waterloo and del Lago are a Finger Lakes stop. The crew that wants a little lake air and a little floor will try to do both. Pick the night for the show. Do not sandwich it between one more shoe. Female dancers are the usual ask on these trips. Keep the language about the show plain. It is a private performance in a room you booked. It is not a public appearance and it is not a hotel amenity.
Plan the suite around the gaming
Write the show time after you write the gambling time, or you will be the person calling from a table asking to push everything an hour. Give us a window with a buffer. Someone stays upstairs to let talent in. Someone does not. That split is the whole logistics plan.
Poker dealers for a private card night in the suite are a clean add-on if the group actually wants cards and not just a felt photo. Golf caddies belong on a morning round if the resort golf is part of the trip. We are not claiming a tee sheet or a partnership. You book the golf. We can talk about a caddie as a guys’ trip extra if it fits.
Here’s what I tell the guy organizing it: do not ask us to check with the hotel. Read your own confirmation. If the answer is no, we will not pretend a partnership exists. If the answer is a suite you control, we will talk about a window that respects how late a bachelor crew actually returns from the floor.
What we need from you
The property name, the room type, the headcount of adults 21 and over, and whether the door is a suite, a villa, or an off-site rental. Do not surprise the front desk. Do not surprise us. Private events only.
Charge phones before you go to the floor. The suite party fails when the person with the door code is still at a table and the rest of the group is posting a pin that is wrong. Write the room number on paper in someone’s pocket. It sounds stupid until it is midnight in Verona.
Waterloo, Monticello, Verona. Pick one resort for the show night. Hopping properties is how you lose the groom in a parking garage. One bed, one living room, one plan. The owner of this company has been on 200-plus TV shows. That is color. It does not get you around a house rule. Read the folio.
Money on the floor versus money in the room
The suite is a worse casino than the floor and a better party. Keep cash and attention in the right order. If the groom is the type to disappear, assign a friend whose only job is to have him upstairs at the window you booked. That friend is more important than another reservation.
Private card night in the room is optional. Private entertainment in the room is the reason you did not just stay in the city and gamble closer to home. Do not blur those until both are mediocre.
We’ve booked private parties since 1989 and run the site since 2007. None of that replaces a room you actually control. Call us and tell us what you are planning. We’ll book the entertainment into the room you actually have, or we’ll tell you to pick a different room.
