Downtown Orlando and Thornton Park are close enough to walk to dinner and still come home. That is the whole pitch. Girls’ night in is not a lesser version of going out. It is the version where you control the door.
I book this for birthdays as often as bachelorettes. A Thursday with six women and a sofa can be a better night than a Saturday fighting for a table. The revue still needs a real address and a real headcount.
Dinner out, revue in
Two restaurants, not a crawl. Thornton Park for a patio. Downtown if she wants lights. Then you leave while you still like each other. Put the out time in the chat. The revue is for the living room, not for a sidewalk.
Condos have HOAs and thin floors. Houses a few blocks off have more forgiveness. Tell me which one you booked. A high-rise with a noisy hallway is a different conversation than a bungalow.

What to ask for

Clear a space. Hide the shopping bags. A chair that does not roll. Water. Someone on the door who knows the unit number. We arrive like guests. Elevator key cards matter. Send that.
If she would rather watch than participate, say so. Normal request. Changes where we put the attention, not whether the night happens.
Guest list discipline
The people staying in the unit. Not a second group from a bar. Mixed groups happen and we can do both male and female if you say so. A pure girls’ night is still the more common downtown call.
21 and over. No gray area because it is a fun night. If the building has a front desk, be boring in the lobby. Costumes in a lobby is how you get a visit you did not want.

Timing
After dinner, not after last call. An hour, then people can still sleep. Saturday goes first. Same-night happens when it happens. I will tell you straight.
If the group is local, you can start earlier and still be in bed at a decent hour. Visiting crews try to do downtown dinner, a second bar, and a 11 p.m. show. That last piece is the one that slips. Put the show at 9 and keep the second bar as a maybe.
Buildings have personalities
Some downtown towers are used to weekends. Some are used to law firms. You can feel it in the lobby. If the front desk already looks tired at 6 p.m., keep your group boring on the way up. The revue still happens. It happens behind your door.
Thornton Park bungalows forgive a little more sound and forgive a little less parking. Leave a space. Text a pin. I would rather walk a block than circle.
If you ordered a pile of dresses to the unit, get the bags out of the main room. Same with gift bags. A living room full of shopping is a trip hazard and a bad photo.
Local groups can start at 8 and still be done in time for a normal Sunday. Visiting groups try to stack too much downtown into one night. Pick dinner and the revue. Let the second bar be optional.

If the unit is a studio, we should talk before you pay a deposit on a performer. Studios can work for two or three people. They fail for ten. I will tell you that on the phone. Believe me and change the room or change the headcount.
Downtown noise rules are posted in a binder nobody reads. Read the binder. If it says quiet hours at 10, start at 8. You still get the hour. You skip the visit from whoever sits at the desk.
Have a rideshare plan for anyone not sleeping there. A girls’ night that turns into a lost-shoe tour of Orange Avenue is a different product. The revue is the product you called me for.
If she wants a photographer, that is a separate person with a separate plan. The revue is not a photo shoot that happens to include a dancer. Decide which one the hour is for. Photos can happen after, in light you own, with clothes people can stand in.
If the rental is a few blocks into a quieter street off Thornton, tell me the cross street. Downtown pins lie by a garage. A performer circling a one-way is a late start. Cross streets fix it.
