Draft day is the one weekend every fantasy league actually gets together. Nashville makes it easy to turn that into something bigger than a laptop and a group chat — big rental houses, world-class food within walking distance, and a nightlife scene that keeps going long after the last pick is in.
If you're hosting your league in Music City this August or September, here's how to build a draft party your group will still be arguing about next season — and how to add private entertainment that takes it from a good hang to a legendary one.
Why Nashville Is Built for Fantasy Football Draft Weekend
Plenty of cities can host a draft. Nashville is one of the few where the whole weekend plans itself.
Big Rental Houses in the Right Neighborhoods
Germantown, East Nashville, and The Gulch all have large short-term rentals with open living areas, multiple TVs, and enough bedrooms to keep a twelve-man league under one roof. Being able to walk to dinner and drinks — instead of coordinating four Ubers — is the difference between a smooth weekend and herding cats.
One practical note: Nashville regulates short-term rentals, and non-owner-occupied properties are restricted in many residential zones. Book through a licensed listing and confirm the property allows groups and guests before you put down a deposit.
Food and Drinks Worth Planning Around
Hot chicken at Hattie B's or Prince's, barbecue at Peg Leg Porker, and more craft breweries than your league can get through in a weekend. Lower Broadway's honky-tonks are the obvious night out, but if your group wants something less packed with bachelorette parties, Midtown and Printers Alley are the local answer.
A Full Weekend, Not Just an Afternoon
Golf, live music every night of the week, the Titans at Nissan Stadium if the schedule lines up, and pedal taverns if your group is into that. The draft becomes the anchor event rather than the only event.
Build the Weekend Around the Draft, Not the Other Way Around
The best draft weekends have one centerpiece and everything else arranged around it. Get the golf round, the brewery stop, or the barbecue lunch done early. By the time the draft starts, everyone's already together, already eating, already a few drinks in — and nobody's checking their phone asking what's next.
Set the draft for late afternoon or early evening. That leaves the night open, which is when private entertainment makes the most sense: your group is loose, everyone's in one place, and nobody wants to reorganize into a night out on Broadway.
Adding Private Entertainment to Your Nashville Draft Party
This is where a draft party stops being a normal Saturday. Our Nashville entertainers come directly to your rental, hotel suite, or private home — no venue to book, no dress code, no cover charge, no getting your whole group across town.
For a draft specifically, the entertainment works best woven into the event rather than dropped on top of it:
- Running the draft board and announcing picks as they come in
- Serving beers and shots so nobody's getting up mid-round
- Interactive party games between rounds while the slow drafters take their eleven minutes
- Punishment shots for whoever reaches on a kicker in round nine
- Keeping the energy up through the back half, when the picks get boring and people start drifting
You choose your entertainers in advance from a private portfolio — you're not getting whoever happens to be available. Tell your booking agent the group size, the vibe you're after, and how many entertainers you want, and we'll match you.
Draft Party Add-Ons Worth Considering
Topless Bartenders
If your league is twelve deep, somebody is going to spend the whole draft playing bartender instead of watching the board. Topless bartenders solve that — you supply the alcohol and mixers, they handle everything else. Drinks stay full, nobody misses their pick, and the host actually gets to enjoy his own party.
Poker Night After the Draft
Drafts end earlier than most groups expect, and nobody wants the night to be over at nine. A private poker dealer turns the back half of the evening into a second event — real dealing, real table, and your league can settle its side bets properly.
Waitress Service for Bigger Groups
For leagues running sixteen or more, or draft parties that double as a birthday or bachelor weekend, waitress service keeps food and drinks moving without anyone playing host all night.
Who's Coming to Your Party
Hot Party Stripper has been booking private entertainment since 1989 — more than 21,400 events across 32 cities. Our Nashville entertainers are local, professional, and experienced at exactly this kind of party. They've worked draft nights, bachelor parties, birthdays, and corporate events, and they know how to read a room full of guys who are half-focused on a TV.
That experience matters more than people expect. An entertainer who's done fifty draft parties knows when to push the energy and when to let the group watch the board. One who hasn't will spend the night standing around.
You can read what past clients have said on our reviews page, and if you want to know who you're actually dealing with, my background is here — I performed with Chippendales and LaBare before starting this company, and I've been running it ever since.
Extending the Weekend
Draft day doesn't have to be the whole trip. Groups that come in for the weekend usually build out around it:
- Golf Saturday morning before the afternoon draft
- A brewery run through East Nashville or Wedgewood-Houston
- Rooftop bars in The Gulch for sunset before the night gets going
- Broadway after dark, if your group hasn't done it before
- A pool party Sunday afternoon to close things out
If your draft weekend is doubling as a bachelor party, our bachelor party packages cover the full weekend rather than a single night.

Nashville Fantasy Football Party FAQs
How far in advance should I book?
Draft season runs late August through the first two weeks of September, and it's the busiest stretch of the fall for us. Saturday evenings book out fastest. Two to three weeks ahead gives you the widest selection of entertainers; last-minute is sometimes possible but you'll be choosing from whoever's open.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on how many entertainers you book, how long you want them there, and which add-ons you include. Current rates are listed on our pricing page. Entertainers also work on tips, so have cash on hand.
Do you come to Airbnbs and vacation rentals?
Yes — private homes, short-term rentals, hotel suites, and other private venues. Confirm with your host or property manager that outside entertainment is permitted before booking. Some Nashville rentals have restrictions on parties and additional guests.
How many entertainers should I book?
For a ten- or twelve-man league, two entertainers keeps the energy going without anyone standing around. Smaller groups can do fine with one. Sixteen or more, go with three or add bartenders so the drink service is covered separately.
Do you serve areas outside Nashville?
Yes. We cover Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Smyrna, Gallatin, Spring Hill, Nolensville, La Vergne, Lebanon, Bellevue, and Donelson. Travel fees may apply for locations farther out — ask when you call.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A deposit reserves your entertainers exclusively for your date and time. Any legitimate agency requires one — it's what guarantees the booking on both ends. Be cautious of anyone who tells you otherwise.
